Mountain View Inn Now Open!!!

The new owners, Tom & Amy Marflak, have done a wonderful job with the renovations of The Inn at Mountain View. 


The new inn boasts a classy yet comfortable decor that lets you feel right at home. Each room is tastefully decorated with your comfort in mind.  A newly added breakfast area allows you to enjoy a continental breakfast buffet in the morning. A well appointed sitting area adjoins the lobby/breakfast area so you can sit back, relax, and/or catch up on the latest news. Off the lobby area they are working on a fitness room and also a business meeting room. 


The owners are anxiously awaiting the completion and arrival of the new restaurant and upscale shops being built next door. These will also compliment the family owned and operated inn.

Picnic at Dusk

Aaron took me on a lovely picnic at Mammoth Park one night. However do to his need to eat dinner asap I was only able to get a few photos. Like they say, "A man has got to eat like fish gotta swim." However I still have yet to figure out who 'they' actually is.....

He made me up a homemade bouquet of daffodils. Such a romantic. :D 

Not to mention the yummy chicken he made on the grill before hand. Is my man not the best! 

Dog Days of Spring

Chaya and my sister, Crystal, well play soccer for ever outside in the summer. Chaya has some awesome soccer skills! She will even score a goal. Got to love my little Multipoo!

TIPP Week Class Photo

 I can not stress enough what a great teacher Don was and how the whole week was just wonderful! Getting to spend a week with people in your field is priceless. The knowledge that you gain far surpasses that of any college class. I will most definitely be going back to TIPP next year.

Triangle Institute of Professional Photography

I spent the week in Pittsburgh learing new tecniques, photoshop tips, lighting, portrait posing, and so much more! Don Emmerich taught the week long class I took entitled, "I want it all." I can not stress enough how well he did. His wife, Nancy, was to be there but later was unable to attend. Don, at first, seamed a little bit lost without his other half but he did a great job teaching his class!

Other photographers/teachers at the conference included Art Rainville, Jennifer Hudson, Tim Kelly, Jen Hillenga, Mike Fulton, and Cody Clinton.
